Atherfield Beach
A long stretch of empty but attractive coastline which is sandy and suitable for swimming. Atherfield has a holiday camp and a dinosaur museum next door. The facilities here are scarce and visitors have to take a short walk down a cliff in order to reach the sand. Once there, however, visitors can enjoy peaceful walks or bask in the sunshine. Ideal for picnics and barbecues Atherfield is perfect from those who want to get away from the tourist areas but can still admire the beautiful West Wight coast line.
